Feedback from Simon Chaplin ” 8 months ago I made a decision to start gaining Nationally recognised qualifications in walking.
I am very fortunate to know a great man for the last 16 years and approached him to assist.
He is a great friend, a wonderful mentor and supportive in all aspects of hillwalking.
I’ve gone through National Navigation to Gold Level including the Tutor award. REC Outdoor First Aid enhanced for altitude.
Back in 1994 I signed up for Mountain Training and with this in mind, I booked to take a Hill and Moorland Assessment.
This occurred this weekend where we spent three days out in the
Brecon Beacons National Park including an overnight camp.
Today was amazing when he shook my hand and congratulated me on passing.
I cannot praise and thank my friend
Alan Ward for everything he has done and if anybody was to ask he would be my first recommendation to provide training.”
