About the competition – The Aviva Community Fund The Aviva Community Fund has accepted a proposal from us which will allow us to significantly increase our delivery of the Heartstart ELS First Aid course using more advanced equipment than is normally available. This will apply across the Brecon Beacons National Park and South Wales generally and the course will be free and certificated to community groups. September 27th – I was invited as a guest on the visit to the Tactical Medical Wing at RAF Brize Norton for a series of very interesting lectures by key personnel followed by a visit to an A400 aircraft. September 28th/29th/30th – 5 candidates completed this course to an exceptionally high standard with high importance given to forestry type operations and how to deal with incidents/injuries in remote areas away from vehicles. A course for 5 candidates from www.pt-ltd.com – Environmental Management Specialists based in Swansea. The group were a pleasure to work with so congratulations for passing the assessment elements to a very high standard.
