THE IMPORTANCE OF AED

THE IMPORTANCE OF AED

Keep your workplace safe this World Heart Day
World Heart Day takes place on 29 September and highlights that 30,000 people have a cardiac arrest outside hospital each year. *

The quick use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), (combined with CPR) gives an unresponsive person who isn’t breathing the best possible chance of survival.

To decide how many AEDs you need, consider the size and age of your workforce and the nature of your working environment by completing a First Aid Needs Risk Assessment.
