Everest Base Camp Trek – Information at a Glance
Dates: Friday 27 October 2006 – Sunday 12 November 2006
- Deposit £275
- Minimum sponsorship £2500
- Insurance £60
- The group will be between 15 and 20 people
- During the trek you will be camping in two person tents
- Optional 3 day excursion to visit an ORBIS project in Lumbini, southern Nepal
- Optional training weekend in Wales on 9-10 September 2006
- This trek is rated as an ‘Extreme Challenge’ but anyone who leads a fairly active and moderately healthy lifestyle should be okay as long as they train regularly over a period of at least three months leading up to the expedition to build up stamina and endurance.

Kilimanjaro Summit Climb – Information at a Glance
Dates: Saturday 1 December – Wednesday 12 December 2007
- Deposit £595
- Minimum sponsorship £2,950
- Insurance £60
- The group will be between 15 and 30 people
- During the trek you will be camping in two person tents
- Possible optional excursion to visit an ORBIS project in Tanzania
- Optional training weekend in Wales in September 2007
- This trek is rated as an ‘Extreme Challenge’ but anyone who leads a fairly active and moderately healthy lifestyle should be okay as long as they train regularly over a period of at least three months leading up to the expedition to build up stamina and endurance.
