Pre-trek courses are specifically designed for trekkers bound for long haul destinations in the developing world. Several courses have been run for charity trekking groups and the course programme includes advice on:

  • long haul travel
  • equipment and clothing
  • healthcare
  • high altitude first aid
  • slideshows
  • mountain walks
  • tips on photography


    • These courses are run at Llwyn-y-Celyn Youth Hostel, Libanus, near Brecon.
